Meet The Team

John- Project Manager & Director

John is the founder of Francis Stone Walling & Patios Ltd after setting up the business at the age of 21 in 2010. He has an extensive knowledge and experience of working with various types of stone.

John began working with Stone during his apprenticeship where he worked on a large country estate in the Tavistock area.

John is City & Guilds Qualified and has over 17 years experience working on a range of local properties.

Outside of work John likes to watch his favourite Football team matches and spend time with his Wife and two Children.

Laura- Office Manager & Director

Laura is the first point of contact for Francis Stone Walling & Patios Ltd. Laura ensures the smooth running of the office and is happy to deal with your enquiries. Laura is also responsible for ordering and arranging materials and deliveries to site.

Laura has previous experience of working in and managing an office for another building firm aswell as several years of Administration experience.

Outside of the Office Laura enjoys spending time with her Family and Baking.

Tom- Site Leader

Tom has gained a vast range of experience from previously working for a reputable local building company and since joining us has developed his skills in Stonework and Patio laying and has been a valued member of our team for over 4 years.

Tom grew up in the Yelverton area and attended Tavistock College with John. Tom travels to work everyday from North Cornwall so is very dedicated to his work.

Outside of work Tom enjoys going on walks with his fiancee and exploring the Devon and Cornish Countryside and spending time with his Dog Bessie( who sometimes comes to work with Tom)

George- Team Member

George has gained 5 years experience in building and landscaping gained through reputable local companies. George has already developed his skills further since joining our team.

George is local to the Yelverton area and has lived here all of his life.

Outside of work George has an interest in History and enjoys exploring historical places with his partner.

Bessie- Mascot

Bessie is the Mascot and travels to work with Tom from her home in Cornwall. (When allowed on site)

Bessie keeps a watchful eye of the work progress whilst on site.

Outside of work Bessie enjoys long walks, eating and playing fetch.
